Anatomy of a Second-Grader
Dear Families,
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year
with you and your child!
Second Grade is an exciting year with
lots of exciting projects and challenges!
I’m looking forward to meeting all of you at Open House next week. Please feel free to bring in supplies and
we’ll get them organized.
Because we don’t have desks in our
classroom, each child will have a plastic box to store materials. Last year,
some of my students brought a pencil box to
keep their own pencils, crayons and other supplies in their boxes more
organized. Please send in an inexpensive pencil box or zippered pocket to store
these items if you wish. Also, we are collecting the long
paper towel tubes for
our math number scrolls. Please save them for us and send them in as you get
them.
