March 18

Dear Families,

We have a big week next week!  On Tuesday the kids will be performing their Musical Play, Suessical Musical, for the whole school in the morning and then for you in the evening.  If your child has a speaking part, please encourage them to practice this line in front of you so they are ready to be center stage!

Also, as a second grade team we are putting on a whole school assembly on Thursday, March, 24th.  Our task is to review the Habit we learned in cabin time last week, Think Win-Win.  We are going to teach the school a song and would appreciate if your child can practice at home between now and next Thursday.  Below is the link with words to the song we will be singing.

Additionally, since the tune is to take me out to the ball game, we are asking the the kids wear baseball caps and a baseball themed shirt to keep with our theme on Thursday, March 24.

We also played a couple of fun games called Basketball Addition and Hit the Target.   Below are the Homelinks for Unit 7.
